If you're pregnant and wanting to breastfeed, you've probably put a lot of time into learning and preparing for your breastfeeding journey. Perhaps you've gone to a class, maybe you've read books or watched videos.
You've probably been given loads of information about how to tell if you have a good latch, how to tell whether your baby is getting enough milk, whether you should feed from one side at a time or two, how to tell if your baby might have tongue tie, and how many wet nappies to expect on which day.
But you know there's an awful lot of information that won't have fully sunk in. And you know that you're not guaranteed to have the support you deserve when you give birth to your baby.

What does 'pocket'/virtual/online breastfeeding support involve?
In your third trimester we'll have a 90-minute private Zoom session (available in-person if you're within 45 minutes of Bournemouth) where we'll explore your breastfeeding hopes, fears and expectations, and consolidate any knowledge you already have. You'll leave the session feeling confident, and with a bespoke plan to get your breastfeeding journey off to the best possible start.
Then from the moment your baby is born you'll have access to me via a combination of WhatsApp messages and voicenotes, phonecalls and Zoom calls. Have support on speed dial from day one, as we work together through any challenges and help you feel heard, supported and reassured in those early days.
You'll also have access to all my guidance and support as a postnatal doula, so you can feel reassured that whatever is on your mind you have someone to reach out to, and we can work through any harder moments together.
